BBC Radio Merseyside – Pre-Oscars Night at OSQA
DJ Linda McDermott thought it was a fab idea – so did her producers, so on Friday 22 February the assembled cast of Linda's Loose Women chat shows Monday to Friday drank pink fizz and chatted the night away in our mezzanine while Linda aired thoughts about the forthcoming Oscars, interviewing hairdresser Herbert and PR guru Pippa Davies about Oscar fashions.
Actress and comedienne Pauline Daniels came as Mae West and sang a risqué Mae West tribute song. Agony Aunt, Jenny Hartstone came as Deeta Von Tease and we all tread the red carpet in true Oscars style.
Business Link Northwest – Celebrating Success 08 Business Awards
When Louise Smith and Colin Ling came to the OSQA Launch back in September last year they decided the restaurant's floor plan was ideal for this event on Thursday 21st February. With a stage and a mezzanine for the Awards Ceremony, and the spectacular light show put together by Savills this was a glamorous and stylish event that celebrated the success of people with innovative ideas who are new into the business world.
Linda McCartney Benefit Dinner
Thanks to Yvonne McDermott and Ann Marie Washington for putting together a fantastic benefit Dinner on Friday 29th February which raised almost £4,000 for the Linda McCartney Trust. Yvonne’s meticulously planned event was a sell out with some great auction prizes going under the hammer including a Wayne Rooney England Shirt, flying lessons, a holiday in Portugal and a Box at Wembley. Thanks also to Paul Falconer of Falconer, Chester Hall Architects who sponsored the reception drinks.
OSQA Wins Double 5 Star Award For Cleanliness
Liverpool Environment Health Agency have awarded a 5 Star award each to OSQA Restaurant and OSQA Deli for top class compliance in Food and Hygiene Regulations. Only a dozen or so restaurants in the city centre can lay claim to these top standards. Why not go to Liverpool City Council's website and check out the cleanliness of restaurants you have eaten in?
